• I'm a member of the Investment Committee at LifeArc Ventures

• On the board of Ozlo Sleep, who make incredibly small and comfortable earbuds to help you sleep better.

• Writing a four-part essay series called “Orphaned Innovations” on why promising faculty inventions never reach patients, and what a different model might look like. Publishing on Substack starting March 10th.

• Serving as a non-executive director at Closed Loop Medicine, a UK-based company developing technology to enable personalized dosing of high-value medicines.

• Advising a handful of healthtech companies, including NuvoAir, and doing some private consulting to help prepare founders for partnering and acquisition.

• Early days building a new venture designed to help more faculty inventions get to market, faster.

• Back to drumming regularly; still working through Gary Chester’s New Breed.

• Playing a lot of squash at the Madison Squash Workshop.

• Continuing to learn wingfoiling; soon back in the Bahamas.

• I’m an investor in around 20 technology businesses, including ImageMover/Workflow Services, Marley Medical, xDot, Portal Telemedicina, among others.

• I’m making + maintaining fun little tools for the web. Things like YearMap, a year-at-a-glance planning calendar, and Windblock, which automatically blocks windy hours in your Google Calendar.
